Jade Matarazzo is a Brazilian-born photographer and visual artist who travels around the world to photograph people’s lives, places and cultures. She originally studied Fine Arts in Switzerland, graduating with a degree in architecture and interior design.

Specializing in the Tibetan “Miksang” philosophy, Jade has created her own trademark style by playing with the focal points of her lenses and her camera, creating a unique blend of colors and unexpected images.

Jade’s passion is the creation of enigmatic pictures that are a well-balanced mix of the real and the subliminal, awakening the viewer’s senses and sensitivity.

As a photojournalist, Jade has photographed artists such as Jon Bon Jovi, Mick Jagger, Romero Britto and many others, using her “Miksang” approach to focus on her subject’s world and environment in order to reveal them more fully.  Jade’s work has been published internationally in art books, and as has been shown in several solo exhibitions.

“Photographing with this approach allows a certain mystery and exploration of the mind’s creative eye on the part of the viewer…” Jade Matarazzo
